MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY!!
Well, here's the gang o'kids!! We piled 'em all up on the little step here to catch some shots.
From left to right we have: Anaiah, Abigail, Peter, Isaiah holding Hannah, Ethan and in the back you see Samson holding the newest addition, Gabriella Kairos Joscelyn Lisk!
Permit me to back track a bit. It's been since Thanksgiving since I posted anything and I appologize. Some of that was camera trouble and a post looks so much better with a pic on it that I was delaying any new information. However, we have that problem solved and I am looking foward to catching everybody up to speed. You are likely to see several Christmas photos because MUCH LIFE has happened in the last month especially.
What I feel is the most important news to share is regarding Kenny!!
For those interested, he has been waiting for his lungs 189 days today. That's a lot of days. We did get a call from James, a social worker over at USC. He's the guy in charge of calming the anxiously waiting. Anyway, he let Kenny know that his name has come up a couple of time as of late. Lungs had become available on at least two different occasions and Kenny was a candidate for at least a little while! Okay folks...
THIS IS HUGE!!
It was terrifying and exciting to hear all at the same time. It was like having a dry run with out having to leave the house. Keep in mind, this doesn't mean we are any closer than we were before, but it feels so much better than the feeling of being left on the shelf and forgotten. So, we continue to wait. Kenny is staying healthy and that is key. We will likely have another evaluation some time in January and have new info to report. More soon........
